Protein Granola Recipe

  • 4 cups rolled oats
  • 1 cup whole almonds
  • 1 scoop protein powder
  • 1 cup dried cranberries
  • 2 tbsp. ground flax seeds
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • 1 large egg white

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 275F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Whisk the egg white until frothy.
  3. Add the egg white to a bowl with the honey, oil, brown sugar, vanilla, salt, and cinnamon. Whisk.
  4. Stir together the oats, almonds, cranberries, flax seeds, and protein powder.
  5. Add the wet ingredients to the oat mixture and stir together.
  6. Transfer to the prepared baking sheet and bake for 45-55 minutes.
  7. Let cool on the pan until cool, then break into pieces with your hands or a spoon.
